Starting this past October and continuing through February, more than 30 Texas newspapers will publish the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts’ 2009 unclaimed property regional lists that include the names of people with $250 or more in unclaimed property as reported this year. Each insert is tailored to a specific region, contains just the names of people in your area and requires less paper than a statewide list. On Sunday, Dec. 13, our region will receive the 2009 Unclaimed Property List for the Greater Houston region.
